What to do with SPAMMERS?!

Do y'all remember the post I did called "Little Things link up?" Well y'all probably don't because it didn't go well with my readers but was a big hit with the spammers! I literally have 150 spam comments on that post! And getting more everyday! EVEN THOUGH IT WAS WRITTEN MONTHS AGO!!!

GET A LIFE SPAMMERS! AND BE PROUD OF YOUR NAME! DON'T HIDE BEHIND ANONYMOUS!

Okay I have gotten all that out *sigh of relief*

Now! What? Where have I been?? Oh well that is a long story!

It has been a sad month and 4 people I loved have died, and my best friend is in the hospital in ICU. So as you can see I had a good reason for my lack of blogging!

I am raising money for my friend in the hospital (Josie <3) and if you would like to help go to my etsy shop thegracefulbird.etsy.com and buy a bracelet! (let me know what colors you want and I make you a listing) They are  $2 each and for a great cause!

So yep! Spam comments and bracelet making has been my month. Even though it is a hard month I am extremely blessed!

In Christ,
Emma

  3. I was getting a lot of spammers as well! and they were all REALLY inappropriate.
Eventually, though I hated having to do it, I turned off the ability to leave anonymous comments, and I haven't gotten anymore since.

  4. Remove the ability to make comments anonymously! I allowed them on my blog for more than a year, but after two separate incidents where the anonymous feature was used for slandering and verbal abuse, I shut the option down. Before that moment I also received a lot of spam comments! But after I turned off the anonymous option, I didn't have haters or spammers.

Keep us updated on sweet Josie.

  6. Try putting word verification and (like Mikayla said) make it so that people can't comment anonymously. Hope this works for you! It's never fun to get spam comments.

Aww, I know how it feels to lose loved ones. Hang in there. :)

  8. Sharing your post on Google+. Hope that draws some attention to your Etsy shop!!!
If your one post isn't drawing attention from anyone but spammers, can't it just be deleted?
    :/
    :(
Chin up! I hope things get better soon.
