Emma In The Kitchen *WATCHOUT*

Today I was thinking about how lovely it would be to have a bowl of mashed potatoes... but honestly they are a lot of work. BUT we have some instant mashed potatoes WHICH I HATE. Anyway but this brand isn't too bad! And I thought if I put some effort into it I could even make them delicious! And I believe I have succeeded! So here is my recipe for 2 servings!

Garlic and Cheese Mashed Potatoes

What we will need!
saucepan and spoon
milk
butter
instant mashed potatoes (brand of your choice but I used Idahoan Premium Mashed Potatoes)
minced garlic
dried minced onions
shredded cheddar cheese
salt and pepper!

Now start off my looking at the package. However much butter it says to do double it (I used 6 TBS) and start melting that. While that is melting add a small spoonful of minced garlic and a large spoonful of dried minced onions. After the butter is melted and onion and garlic are mixed in well look at the package again! If the package says "1/4 cup of water and 3/4 cup of milk" Just add one cup on milk! Milk makes it taste better!!! Now leave that until it starts boiling! Then turn off the burner add a handful of shredded cheddar cheese and your instant mashed potatoes! (I used 1/2 a cup) Now stir and add salt and pepper to your liking!



This took me about 5 minutes and is so good! Tell me if you tried it! Enjoy!!!
